WHO WE ARE
MISSION
The Illinois Student Invention Convention’s mission is to empower the next generation of problem-solvers by educating, connecting, and celebrating student innovators.
VISION AND VALUES
In alignment with our belief that innovation is for everyone, we adopt Invention Convention Worldwide’s vision to create a world where “all young learners have access to innovation, invention, and entrepreneurial learning to gain the confidence and skills to control their own destiny to help shape a better future.”
How can we look at things in a new way? Imagining and exploring possibilities can create new value.
How can we better understand and connect with a person, problem, or experience? Innovation starts with empathy.
What is possible if we work together? Leveraging others’ perspectives and talents help us reach our shared goals.
How can we learn from failure? Growth and continued effort get results.
